In order for seniors with significant medical problems to remain in their homes rather than seeking admission to nursing homes, they often need help over and above what is provided by family members and friends this help can include:

• Specialized equipment and supplies
• Chore services
• Personal care attendant services
• Adult day care (not currently available in Wrangell)
• Home nursing
• Respite care
• Assisted living
• Transportation and escort services
• Meal services
• Environmental modifications
• Care coordination services
